D W Bond

D W Bond & Sons began in Croydon, South London in 1963 when David (D W) Bond was asked by a customer if he could source “Sultan Yellow Dusters”. He found a supplier and made a purchase of 6 Dozen and stored them at home under the dining room sideboard. Having sold them he purchased another 12 dozen and thus from very small beginnings gradually increased his product range to include a substantial range of Household and Fancy Linens.  By 1979, and a few bumps on the way, it was time for expansion and Michael joined the business, to be followed by Andrew in 1980. There followed a period of slow but steady growth enabling a partnership, and the current name to be formed in 1983, followed by a move larger premises in Worthing in 1985. 14 years later Davids 3rd son Chris joined the partnership and in 2007 there was a further move to our current premises.
